The Best Is Still Ahead

Scripture: Ephesians 3:20
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

There are times when we need to stop and remember what God has done.

Every answered prayer deserves gratitude.
Every changed life deserves celebration.
Every person who found hope deserves thanksgiving.
Every door God opened deserves recognition.

Looking backward at God's faithfulness should never leave us living in the past. Instead, it should give us confidence for the future.

The God who was faithful yesterday will still be faithful tomorrow.

That means we can celebrate what God has done while eagerly anticipating what He will do next.

There are still people who need Jesus.
There are still broken hearts that need healing.
There are still families that need restoration.
There are still communities that need hope.
There are still lives waiting to be transformed by the Gospel.

And God has invited us to participate in what He is doing.

Perhaps some of the greatest stories of God's grace have not happened yet. Someone you are praying for today may become tomorrow's testimony. A small act of obedience today may produce fruit you will not see for years.

So celebrate the victories behind you—but keep looking forward.

God isn't finished.

Application:
Take a few moments today and write down three things you have seen God do. Thank Him specifically for each one. Then write down one thing you are trusting Him to do next. Let yesterday's faithfulness strengthen today's faith.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for everything You have already done. Thank You for every prayer You have answered, every life You have changed, and every opportunity You have given us to serve You. Help us never become satisfied with yesterday's victories. Give us faith to believe that You are still working and courage to follow wherever You lead. May more people discover Your love, hope, healing, and life through Jesus Christ. We celebrate what You have done, and we look forward with expectation to what You will do next. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
