When Friends Disappoint

Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:16–17

Even the Apostle Paul experienced abandonment. He wrote that no one stood with him during a difficult time, yet he immediately added, "Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me."

People will disappoint us. Friends may fail, relationships may change, and seasons of life may separate us from those we love. But Jesus never walks away from His children.

Our confidence is not built upon human faithfulness but upon Christ's unchanging love.

Reflection Question: Am I placing more trust in people than in God?
