THERE IS PURPOSE BEYOND THIS MOMENT

THERE IS PURPOSE BEYOND THIS MOMENT

Scripture: Genesis 50:20
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good…”

Imagine Joseph standing before the brothers who betrayed him.

Years earlier, they had thrown him into a pit and sold him into slavery.

Joseph couldn't see the future from the bottom of that pit.

He couldn't see Egypt.
He couldn't see Pharaoh.
He couldn't see the palace.
He couldn't see the famine coming.
He couldn't see his family eventually standing before him.

All Joseph could see was the pit.

And sometimes that's exactly where we find ourselves.

We see the diagnosis.
We see the financial problem.
We see the broken relationship.
We see the unanswered prayer.
We see the disappointment.
We see the pain.

But God sees beyond the pit.

Looking backward, Joseph recognized something he couldn't see while he was suffering: God had been working all along.

Maybe today you're standing in a place that doesn't make sense.

Don't confuse God's silence with God's absence.

Don't assume that because you cannot see His hand, He isn't working.

And don't let today's pain convince you that tomorrow has no purpose.

The same God who was with Joseph in the pit was with him in the prison—and eventually placed him in the palace.
Your story isn't finished.

There are chapters God hasn't written yet, prayers He hasn't answered yet, people you haven't met yet, and purposes you haven't discovered yet.

What feels like a setback today may become part of the story God uses tomorrow.

LIFE APPLICATION TAKE-AWAY
Don't let today's pain write the ending of a story God is still writing. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep walking. There is purpose beyond this moment.
