The Way Opened!
Scripture:
“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.” — Hebrews 10:19
Before Calvary, access to God was limited—restricted, distant, and veiled. The high priest alone could enter the holiest place, and even then, only once a year. But when Jesus died, the veil was torn from top to bottom, declaring that the way to God had been opened once and for all. Because He lives, we are no longer shut out—we are welcomed in.
This boldness is not arrogance; it is assurance. It is the confidence that comes from knowing our entrance is not based on our merit, but on Christ’s finished work. His blood has removed every barrier—sin, shame, and separation. Where fear once kept us at a distance, faith now draws us near.
Yet many believers still linger at the doorway, hesitant and uncertain. Guilt whispers, unworthiness lingers, and doubt clouds the invitation. But God calls us closer—not cautiously, but confidently. The throne we approach is not one of condemnation, but of grace.
The open way is an invitation to intimacy. It is a call to daily fellowship, continual communion, and confident prayer. You don’t have to earn access—you already have it through Jesus Christ.
Reflection Questions:
Are you boldly approaching God, or are you holding back in hesitation?
What fears, sins, or doubts are keeping you from drawing near?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for opening the way through Jesus Christ. Help me to come boldly, not in my own worth, but in His righteousness. Remove every barrier in my heart that keeps me from drawing near. Teach me to live in the confidence of Your grace and the closeness of Your presence. Amen.
