Surrounded but Still Lonely

Scripture: Psalm 25:16

16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted.

Technology has made it easier than ever to connect with people, yet many still feel deeply alone. We can have hundreds of online friends while struggling to find one person who truly knows our heart. David understood this feeling when he cried, "Turn thee unto me...for I am desolate and afflicted."

Loneliness isn't a sign that God has abandoned you. Often, it is an invitation to draw closer to Him. While people may overlook us, the Lord never does. He knows every burden, every tear, and every silent prayer.
Instead of allowing loneliness to convince you that no one cares, let it remind you that Christ is always near. His presence is constant, even when your emotions tell you otherwise.

Reflection Question: Where have I been looking for acceptance instead of looking to Christ?

Daily Take-Away: Spend ten quiet minutes with God today, thanking Him for His constant presence.
