Choosing God's Word Daily

Scripture: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105
Most people do not drift toward spiritual maturity. Growth requires intentional choices.

One of the most impactful habits a believer can develop is spending time in God's Word each day. The Bible provides wisdom, direction, encouragement, correction, and strength for every season of life.

Many Christians struggle because they only open their Bible during church services. Imagine trying to survive physically on one meal per week. Spiritual health requires consistent nourishment as well.

You do not need hours each day to begin. Start with a few verses. Read thoughtfully. Ask God to speak to your heart. Consistency is more important than quantity.

Every day presents a choice: Will I allow God's truth to shape my thinking, or will I allow the world to do it for me?

The small decision to read Scripture daily may seem ordinary, but over time it transforms your perspective, strengthens your faith, and equips you to face life's challenges.

Reflection
What keeps you from consistently spending time in God's Word?

Prayer
Father, give me a hunger for Your Word. Help me develop a habit of seeking Your truth every day. Amen.
