Pain is never pleasant, but for the child of God, it is never pointless. Paul reminded us in 2 Corinthians 4:17 that “our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

Every trial, heartbreak, disappointment, and burden is being used by God to shape us, strengthen us, and prepare us for something eternal. What feels heavy today will one day reveal the glory of God in ways we cannot yet see. Don’t give up in the suffering—God is producing something greater through it.
