The Source of Our Provision: The God of Hope!

Abounding in God’s Provision Series:
Scripture: Romans 15:13 – “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Devotion: The Apostle Paul begins with the title “the God of hope.” This speaks of a God who not only gives us life but also sustains it with an assured expectation of His faithfulness. Hope in God is not fragile—it is firm because it is anchored in His promises. Just as Israel daily depended upon God for manna in the wilderness, we must rely on Him as our Provider in every area of life. When we lean on Him, we discover that our security does not rest in bank accounts, circumstances, or our own strength—it rests in the unfailing God of hope.
Life Application: The same God who provided manna in the wilderness offers hope and sustenance for you today.
Prayer: Lord, thank Thee for being the God of hope. Teach me to look to Thee as my source of strength, supply, and security. Please help me to trust that all I need flows from Thy hand. Amen.
