Strength For The Struggle!
Devotion by Pastor Shane - October 15, 2025

Scripture: Ephesians 6:10–11
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Devotion:
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Life is a battlefield, and every believer is a soldier. The enemy’s attacks are subtle and strategic, but our strength is not in ourselves—it is in the Lord. Paul reminds us that victory comes not through human might, but through divine power.
God’s armor is not decorative—it’s defensive. The belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit equip us for every attack. We don’t fight for victory; we fight from victory because Christ has already conquered the enemy.
When the devil whispers lies, truth must be our response. When he tempts us with fear, faith must be our shield. The believer’s greatest strength is dependence on God’s might.
Prayer:
Father, help me to stand firm in Your power today. Clothe me in Your armor, guard my heart from deception, and give me courage to face the battles ahead. Remind me that the victory belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
