Secure In The Savior!

Scripture: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." — John 10:28

Devotion: In a world filled with uncertainty and constant change, Christ offers the most excellent security imaginable—eternal life that cannot be lost or stolen. The moment we place our faith in Him, we are held firmly in His strong and saving hand. This grip is so powerful that no force, whether on earth or in hell, can pry us away from His embrace. His promise of eternal security is not contingent upon our performance or achievements, but instead rests entirely on His divine power and faithfulness. This assurance allows us to face life's challenges without fear, knowing that our salvation is eternally secure.

Like a diligent shepherd who guards his sheep with unwavering vigilance, Jesus watches over His own with unceasing care and compassion. Even when we stray from the path, His love remains steadfast, and we will never be forsaken. In moments of doubt or fear, we can find solace in the knowledge that our salvation is as secure as the hands that hold us—the nail-pierced hands of the Son of God. These hands, which bore our sins, now protect us from all harm and assure us of our eternal destiny. Thus, we can live with peace in our hearts, knowing we are never alone.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for the assurance that I am forever yours, safe in your loving embrace. When fear and failure whisper lies that threaten to undermine my faith, remind me of the unyielding strength of Your grip. Keep me close to You, and empower me to live with confidence in Your unchanging promise of eternal life. Let me draw strength from the knowledge that I am secure in You, regardless of the circumstances surrounding me. Amen.
