DAY 15 — God With Us
Scripture:
“…and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” — Matthew 1:23 (KJV)
Emmanuel is one of the most comforting names attributed to Christ. He is not merely a distant deity, nor is He a God who stands apart from our struggles; He is God with us. This profound truth signifies that He enters our weaknesses, walks alongside us in our valleys, and remains present in our struggles. His presence is a source of hope and comfort, assuring us that we are never alone in our challenges.
Christmas serves as a poignant reminder that we are never alone. Regardless of the circumstances we face, Emmanuel is present in every season of our lives, whether joyful or painful. His companionship provides solace amidst uncertainty and strength during trials. The assurance of His presence invites us to lean into Him, fostering a deeper relationship where we are comforted and encouraged. Recognizing that God is with us can transform our perspective on life’s challenges.
Application Questions
1. Where do you need to experience Emmanuel today?
2. How can you be more aware of Christ’s presence throughout the day?
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being with me in every season. Let Your presence be my source of peace and strength throughout the day. Amen.
