Day 6 – A New Creation

Scripture: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

The resurrection of Jesus is not only a historical event—it is a transforming reality. Because He lives, we can live differently. Salvation is more than forgiveness; it is transformation.

When we are “in Christ,” we are made new. The old life—defined by sin, shame, and separation—no longer controls us. Though we may still struggle, we are no longer enslaved. The same power that raised Jesus from the grave now works within us.

Easter is the foundation of spiritual renewal. The empty tomb means we do not have to return to the graveclothes of our past. We are called to walk in newness of life.

New beginnings are possible because the old life has been crucified with Christ. Resurrection living means daily surrender, daily renewal, and daily dependence on His Spirit.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for making me new. Help me leave the old behind and walk each day in the power of Your resurrection.
