Holy Anger, Holy Purpose

Scripture: Mark 11:15–17
Jesus' cleansing of the temple reveals an important truth: not all anger is sinful.

Jesus became angry because God's house had been corrupted and people were being exploited. His anger was rooted in holiness, not selfishness. He wasn't defending His reputation—He was defending God's glory.
Much of our anger originates from wounded pride, unmet expectations, or personal inconvenience. Christ's anger flowed from love for the Father and concern for others.

When anger arises, we should ask ourselves several questions: What is this emotion revealing? Is my anger about me—or about God's righteousness? Am I seeking revenge, or am I seeking restoration?

God can transform anger into courage, conviction, and righteous action when we surrender it to Him.
Don't suppress your emotions—but don't allow them to become your master. Let the Holy Spirit refine them.
