God Sees Your Pain

Scripture:
"The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." — Psalm 34:18

Pain has a way of making us feel invisible. Whether the hurt came through betrayal, harsh words, rejection, or disappointment, it can leave us wondering if anyone truly understands what we are carrying. The wonderful truth of Scripture is that God not only sees your pain—He draws near to you in it.

David wrote Psalm 34 after one of the darkest seasons of his life. He knew what it was like to feel abandoned and misunderstood. Yet he discovered that God's presence is often experienced most deeply in life's greatest trials.

God never asks you to pretend your wounds do not exist. He invites you to bring them honestly before Him. The tears you have cried in secret have not gone unnoticed. Every sleepless night, every anxious thought, and every silent prayer has been seen by your heavenly Father.

Your hurt may explain where you are today, but it does not determine where God is leading you tomorrow. His presence is your comfort, His promises are your anchor, and His love remains unchanged.

Today, rest in the assurance that you are not walking through this valley alone

Reflection: God may not have caused your pain, but He promises to walk with you through it

Prayer: Lord, thank You for seeing my broken heart. Help me remember that I am never alone. Draw me close to You and remind me that Your presence is enough for today. Amen
