Day 18 – Aligning the Heart With God’s Will

Scripture: Psalm 37:4

⁴ Delight thyself also in the Lord; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Delighting in God serves to align our hearts with His desires for our lives. As our love for Him deepens, our priorities begin to shift toward His purposes. God reshapes our wants and needs as we find joy in Him, guiding us to understand His will more clearly. When our hearts are aligned with God’s will, our decisions become clearer, and peace becomes more evident in our lives.

Love grows as trust replaces the urge to control our circumstances. God honors hearts that earnestly seek His will above their own desires, inviting us to experience His blessings. This alignment fosters a deeper relationship with Him, enhancing our understanding of His plans for us. By surrendering our own will, we open ourselves to His guiding presence, leading us to fulfill our purpose in Him. The more we delight in the Lord, the more we understand the depth of His love for us.
