A Friend That Stays

Text: Hebrews 13:5
“…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Human relationships can fail. People can walk away. But God makes a promise no one else can make—and keep: He will never leave you.
This is not based on your performance but on His faithfulness. Even when you feel distant from Him, He has not moved. His presence is constant, even when your feelings fluctuate.

You may feel alone—but you are never abandoned.

Devotional Questions:
Have you ever felt like God was distant? What caused that feeling?
What does His promise mean to you personally today?

Prayer:
God, thank You that You never leave me. Even when I feel alone, remind me that You are near. Strengthen my faith in Your unchanging presence. Amen.
