Trusting God with Tomorrow

Scripture
Matthew 6:34
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow..."

Devotional
Much of our anxiety comes from trying to control tomorrow.

We imagine future problems before they ever arrive.

Jesus lovingly reminds us that tomorrow belongs to God.

Worry often steals today's joy without changing tomorrow's outcome.

Faith, however, allows us to rest in God's faithful provision.

Throughout Scripture, God consistently met His people's needs one day at a time.

Israel received daily manna.

Jesus taught us to pray for daily bread.

God gives daily grace for daily challenges.

When we obsess over tomorrow, we often miss God's faithfulness today.

The future is not unknown to God.

Every detail has already passed beneath His sovereign gaze.

The same God who has faithfully carried you through every previous season will continue to lead you into the next one.

Instead of asking, "What if everything goes wrong?"
Ask,  "What if God once again proves Himself faithful?"

He always has.

He always will.
