God’s Great Love!

Scripture: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

Devotion:

John 3:16 is perhaps the most well-known verse in the Bible, and it is also one of the most powerful. It tells us the foundation of the gospel: God loves us. His love is not based on what we do for Him, but on what He has already done for us through Jesus Christ.

God proved His love by sending His only begotten Son to die in our place. That means salvation is not something we earn—it is a gift we receive by faith. Anyone—no matter their past, their failures, or their sins—can have everlasting life through Christ.

This truth should bring us comfort and hope. We are never outside of God’s reach. His love is deep enough to forgive, strong enough to save, and wide enough to include everyone who believes. Let this verse remind you today: you are loved beyond measure.
