I Can Only Imagine!

1 Peter 1:19 says, "But with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot." These words remind us of the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. It's difficult for us to fully comprehend the magnitude of this sacrifice, but it's something we can only imagine.
"I Can Only Imagine" is a popular Christian song that speaks to the wonder and awe we feel when we think about what it will be like to stand in the presence of God. The song asks, "Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel? Will I dance for you, Jesus, or in awe of You be still?" It's a powerful reminder that the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross makes it possible for us to have a relationship with God and one day stand in his presence.
As we meditate on the sacrifice Jesus made for us, may we be filled with a sense of wonder and gratitude? May we remember that it's something that we can only imagine, but it's also something that we can experience genuinely through our relationship with Jesus. May we be inspired to live in a way that honors him, knowing that one day we will stand before him and worship him in all his glory?
