Forgiveness Sets You Free

Scripture: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness is often misunderstood.

Forgiveness is not pretending the hurt never happened. It is not saying evil was acceptable. It is choosing to release your right to personal revenge and entrust justice to God.

Bitterness imprisons the wounded person far longer than the one who caused the pain.

Forgiveness does not always restore relationships, but it always restores freedom within your own heart.
God is the perfect Judge. He sees every wrong and will deal with every injustice in His perfect timing.
When you forgive, you are not excusing the offense—you are refusing to let it continue controlling your life.
Reflection: Forgiveness is freedom for the heart that has been imprisoned by pain.

Prayer: Father, help me forgive as You have forgiven me. Give me strength to release bitterness and trust You with justice. Amen.
