Day 22 – Consecrated for God’s Work
Scripture:
“Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”
(Joshua 3:5)
Before God performed wonders among the people of Israel, He called them to consecration. Consecration involves the intentional setting apart of your life for God’s purposes, beginning in the heart rather than merely manifesting in outward actions.
God continues to work powerfully through lives that are yielded to Him. When you consecrate yourself, you are not trying to earn God’s favor; instead, you are aligning yourself with His will. A consecrated life declares, “Lord, all that I am belongs to You.”
As this year progresses, seek God and ask Him to reveal anything that hinders your full devotion to Him. Trust that obedience to His will prepares the way for His remarkable works in your life.
