Day 5 – A New Heart Before God
Scripture:
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.” (Ezekiel 36:26)
God’s transformative work begins on the inside. A new year presents a powerful opportunity to invite Him to search your heart and renew your spirit. External changes often mean little without the accompanying internal transformation. This is a time to reflect deeply on your spiritual walk and seek genuine renewal from the inside out.
God promises us not just improvement, but genuine renewal. He can replace hardness with tenderness, resistance with willingness, and doubt with faith. A surrendered heart becomes fertile ground for spiritual growth and new beginnings. It is through this heart transformation that we can truly embrace the new year with hope.
Begin this year by asking God to shape your desires and align your will with His. Seek His guidance in every aspect of your life, allowing Him to mold your heart according to His purpose. This openness to His leading will pave the way for a deeper relationship with Him throughout the year.
